Multiple Black Panther leaders were run out of the country because they were being watched and threatened by the FBI directly. Eldridge Cleaver, who later became the leader of the Black Panther Party because Huey P. Newton and Bobby Seale were incarcerated, ran out of the country because if he stayed he was going to be killed. Kathleen Cleaver had to leave with her husband. Angela Davis was almost put in jail and then she had to flee the country. Ericka Huggins was arrested. Bobby Seale was arrested. Huey P. Newton was shot by policemen, arrested multiple times, and he always was a target. Bobby Hutton was shot to death by policemen. The policemen raided the Black Panther party headquarters all around the United States. You may have heard of the Panther 21 and how all of them had cases at once in the New York headquarters of the Black Panther Party. The FBI was really going against them. Gladly they all won those cases so, they didn't go to jail.  Some marriages were affected by the policemen and J. Edgar Hoover agenda. Fred Hampton was assassinated by the Chicago Policemen Department in his home in the presence of his pregnant fiancé. So many of the Panthers were going through so much that the Party started to fall apart. The FBI sent letters to Huey P. Newton while he was in jail as if the letters were from Eldridge Cleaver and which made Newton and Cleaver turn against one another. After this, the Party was split. Also, after Huey P. Newton got out of jail he was a different man. He started getting more violent even with the Panthers. The Party started turning into a gang. Huey P. Newton started doing drugs as well; the whole Party was just disintegrated. Most people left the party because being an active member of it messed up their families and put their lives in danger as a result of COINTELPRO being put into action by the federal government.

The act of neutralizing the black community defiantly affected the Black Panther Party. Huey P. Newton began stealing drugs from people and he ended up being killed by a drug dealer.

*Neutralize could mean "making some [one an] informant, or putting someone in jail, or having someone killed." In some cases neutralize means how the Government put drugs in the Black community. Proof: The Department of Justice said, "The CIA-crack connection: The story nobody wants to hear: Your worst fears are true -- the CIA did help to smuggle drugs into American ghettos, says an investigative reporter."

SHOT DOWN PANTHERS

Bobby Hutton:

Huey P. Newton :

Fred Hampton :

Bobby Hutton was the First Black Panther that was killed by the policemen. PBS said,
"On April 6, 1968, Oakland police ambushed a carload of BPP members on a side street. An hour and a half shootout ensued, resulting in the death of BPP member Bobby Hutton and the arrest of all others present on the scene. Bobby Hutton was shot more than twelve times after he had already surrendered and stripped down to his underwear to prove he was not armed"

Huey P. Newton was beaten really bad by policemen and he was shot. He was brought to a hospital and he was beaten in the hospital by policemen while he was injured and handcuffed to his hospital bed. The doctor that witnessed this incident, that didn't do anything about it, committed suicide because he felt as if he disobeyed medical ethics by letting the policemen beat Huey so brutality.

Fred Hampton was assassinated by the Chicago Policemen Department on December 4, 1969. In the documentary, "FBI's War against Black America", Flint Taylor,an attorney, stated, "We know they did pull the trigger on Fred Hampton and all the bullet holes, were all coming inside from outside. (referring to how he was killed and confirming he was killed from the policemen)"

Wanted!!!

Bobby Seale was arrested after he went into the Assembly Chamber at the State Capitol, with firearms to protest they government trying to ban them from using firearms. This bill was passed and is sometimes referred to as, " The Black Panther Bill."

The FBI tried to arrest Angela Davis, but she ended up winning her case. She still ended up fleeing the country because even if she won her case they were still going after her.

Sad fact ... Police Brutality

The picture above and below is photos of the night of Bobby Hutton's murder. The Black Panthers were forced to strip off all of their clothing until they were completely naked. This was "because" the policemen wanted to make sure they didn't have any weapons on them. The picture below is blurred because it is explicit, but you can tell what I am saying is the truth.

Erika Huggins was one of the many Black Panthers that were arrested. From her arrest, people started chanting "Free Erika" at the protest.
